In our science and engineering unit, students learned about bridge types and structures. Students were tasked with building innovative bridges. The bridges had to meet various criteria: be constructed with particular materials, support a toy car that traveled across it and support increasing weight. Students followed the engineering design process to design and improve their innovative bridges.
